Our Story

Born from the land. Builtby its youth.

EcoCitizens launched in January 2023 with a simple idea: that care forLebanon's environment is the one force that unites its people acrossevery divide.

Since then, 13 eco-actions across five regions, 600+ volunteers, and acommunity that keeps growing. Proof that young Lebanese show upwhen the cause is real.

When young people from Tripoli and Tyre, from Zahle and Jounieh, pickup the same trash bag side by side, something real shifts. The landbecomes common ground, and the movement becomes unstoppable.

Our eco-actions are more than cleanups. They are a statement:Lebanon belongs to its people, and its people are showing up, againand again.

Vision

Four pillars of action

Coastal cleanup in progress Eco-Actions Cleanups and hikes across Lebanon's five regions. 13 actions delivered, from Beirut to the Bekaa. EcoCitizens event with banner Conferences Public talks linking environment to civic identity. Open to all backgrounds, focused on shared ground. Group gathered under a tree Youth Training Building the next generation of environmental leaders. Workshops, exchanges, and 6 international programs. Volunteers at a group activity Awareness School and group sessions making care everyday. 460+ students reached through schools and campaigns.
